0 komentar

Assalammu'alaikum...

Hi, guys! I'm having some tips for you who lived in some country with two seasons (people who lived in the countries that lie along the line of the equator, like me who lived in Indonesia) on rainy seasons and who lived in in some country with four seasons on winter. Before I write this article, for your information, I love rainy days. Because, when the rain is falling, I always writing songs. Must be the musicians in me. :D

I know some people hates rainy season/winter. Because, it can make some people become less excited. Their mood is going down and their face grim as the sky was overcast. If that happens,...well. You can do this following fashion tips for rainy day/snowy day, which will be guaranteed to be hijab-friendly fashion.

- Wearing Colorful Clothes

To brighten up your day, try to use a more colorful clothes when it rains. For example, a combination of yellow and orange, red or blue. Light-colored clothing can make you become more excited and will emit a brighter glow on your face. Trust me. :D

- Wear a thick hijab/pashmina

Yes. On the very very freezing day (brrrrr....), you have to wear thick pashmina/hijab. You don't want to be cold outdoors or indoors, right? Unless you want to be a snow woman, try to experiment with some hijab and scarf collection that you have. For example, a dark color clothing with a hijab on or vice versa.

If you wear a thin hijab, combined with a thick pashmina or scarf that made from wool or cashmere on your neck around your hijab. Or, try layering two thin hijabs which has almost the same color. In addition to keeping you warm, also can make you more fashionable.

- Boots

Who does not like this item? Boots is perfect for a rainy day/snowy day. Try to wear shoes with leather or rubber which is comfortable to wear when rainy days/snowy days.

Boots can keep you dry and look stylish. In addition, this type of shoe is more survive in the rainy season/winter. It would be better, if you set up 2-3 boots during the rainy season/winter.

- Blazer and Coat

This is a must-have item during the rainy season/winter. In addition to making you more warm, it also can make you look more presentable. If you want to look more authoritative, you can use a blazer or coat with a firm shoulder line. If you want a more casual style, oversized sweater or cardigan batwing and cardigan could be an option. Another tips, if you want your body to be warmer, wear turtleneck tops/polo neck tops in your blazer/coat/cardigan/sweater.

Done. Now, you can look amazing and more energized throughout the rainy season/winter. I hope this article can help you, to keep warm and modest but stylish in the rainy season/winter. Bye, guys!

Wassalammu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

My Hijab Fashion and Make Up Inspiration 9

Hi, guys! Assalammu'alaikum! Welcome to the 9th series of My Hijab Fashion and Make Up Inspiration. :D I'm having so much fun to write down this article only for you people, who read my blogs. I know, I'm not updated it daily. But, hey! We are busy to do our job, right? Students, career women, housewives, etc. Who said that only men who can be busy? :D Anyway, I wanna tell you guys that I might not putting some makeup inspirations in some pictures. Because, I want you created your own makeup when you are trying or even wear it on your daily activities. So, without any kind of second thought, here is the latest My Hijab Fashion and Make Up Inspiration from the previous series (first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth).

Okay. Is there anyone who reads this article is school students or college students? Are you confused to find inspiration for the outfit to school or college? Relax. I'm in here to help you, to giving some inspiration that might help you. :D I got this inspiration from Seventeen.com about Back to School Outfits for Fall. Because college or school is about hectic days to doing some work or meeting some new friends, this outfits looks great for you. Floral print jeans is so in for Fall/Autumn. Wear it with chambray dress shirt, yellow blazer, black pashmina, and your book bag. Don't forget some simple accessories and sneakers. Taupe eyeshadow and bronze cheek will look great for your look at school.

This is the great look for hang out with some friends. If you have some mini dresses before you wearing hijab like me (I'm having 5 mini dresses), don't dump it! You can wear it with bright color pants, dark color blazer, tangerine hijab, sunglasses, and black boots. Don't forget to add bag to put the things that you wanted to bring, like your smartphone, wet tissues, or even your prayer needs (I'm having prayer garment or in Indonesia we called it 'mukena'. It covers your whole body, except your face. You can search at Google for that words). Hangout with natural makeup? Why not? :D

For every American who read this blog, please. Let's forget for a moment the problem about the WTC tragedy that occurred on September 11, 2001, and please forget about Islamophobia. I'm tired of hearing the news about the non-Muslims who are sarcastic and racist against Muslims. But, right now, I wanna give some inspiration for school/college inspired by American classic style. If you have dark loose straight leg jeans, wear it with acid washed jeans shirt, polka dot blazer, black hijab, satchel bag, and oxford shoes. If you are near-sighted girls, don't forget to wear your glasses. A very natural makeup should be enough for this look.

I love dusty pink color. And, dusty pink is color trend for Fall 2013. Wear dusty pink long sleeve blouses/shirt/tees with black floral print maxi skirt, dusty pink wedges shoes, bright pink hijab (this is also a good trick for fair/light skin women), simple brown bag, big black fedora hats, and sunglasses. I want to having some red ombre eyeshadow and red-plum ombre lips for Fall. I think that would be perfect for this look.

Okay, ladies. Let's face it. We all right now (almost) can't live without social media, right? :D When I saw there's a 'social media dress code' from Google, I was thinking "Why I didn't make it more hijabi friendly???" :D I know that sound crazy, but finally I can realized that idea. For my Facebook Hijab Inspired, blue long sleeve blouses, white palazzo pants, white blazer, blue hijab, blue wedges shoes, white sun hat, and blue clutch. This look is great for outdoor formal/semi formal party.

This look is also inspired by one of most famous social media, Twitter. :D Twitter logo is all about teal. So, white long sleeve blouses, teal maxi skirt, teal jacket, white hijab, white shoes, teal sunglasses, and teal sling bag, is will make you more like Twillionaire. :D This look is also great for vacation on cruise or beach.

Youtube is also (almost) being the part of our life, right? :D We always watching tutorials, music videos, until news is on it with zillions viewers everyday. Inspired by Youtube logo, this look is definitely great for Youtuber. :D Black V-neck long sleeves blouses (this is really perfect for women with big breasts. For more idea, you can go check this link), black V-neck waistcoat/vest, red maxi skirt, white pashmina, white sunglasses, white sling bag, and white sneakers platform. This look is perfect for casual looks.

Is anyone here have Tumblr? Well, I do have Tumblr. Well, I know it's not much. But, I'm still using it until know. Anyway, this look is definitely great for formal indoor party. And, I have a trick to wear sleeveless V-neck dark teal silk maxi dress. For more modest look, wear white long sleeve turtleneck top inside the dress. For big breast women, this will look great if you want to look more modest at the formal party, because this look will create a shallow V-neck. Then, you can added white crop blazer, dark teal hijab, white fascinator, dark teal clutch, and white high heels.

Okay. Please don't judge me, but..I like watching The Voice US, and...I wish I can be the part of that shows. As maybe you already know, I'm studying in music school in vocal division. I always watching The Voice US, because I must learn something from so many artists. But, I know it won't happen. I don't know why, but I always think the worst. When I saw The Voice logo, that makes me inspired to making this look. I imagined that I'm wearing red loose pants, white shirts, dark grey jacket, black pashmina, silvery white headpiece, black satchel bag, and edgy black ankle boots. It will makes me look like a rockstar. :D With adding some silver eyeshadow and red lipstick, I think I'm ready for my blind auditions. :D

My Hijab Fashion and Make Up Inspiration 8

Hi, guys! Assalammu'alaikum! Today, I'm going to writing blogs in My Hijab Fashion and Make Up Inspiration series. Actually, I have to re-write My Hijab Fashion and Make Up Inspiration series. -_-' That's lame. Because, there are so many pictures that I'm not posted on the blog. Damn! -_-' Especially, because on August 17th is Indonesian Independence Day (like 4th of July, but we celebrate it in August. Because, on the same day in 1945, Indonesia is free from Dutch colonial), so I'm off to write my blogs. Okay. Without the second thought, here is the latest My Hijab Fashion and Make Up Inspiration from the previous series (first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh).

Do you have a plan to have a day/weekend date with you hubby or future hubby? :P Well, this look is perfect for you. Wear your pastel blue blouse with dark turtleneck top inside it, navy harem pants, blue pashmina/scarf, sun hat, pastel jacket (you'll never know, when the bad weathers come), navy wedges, and pastel blue clutch. Smokey soft blue eyes would make perfect.
I know, spring is over in Europe and America. But, if you want to feel the warmth of spring again, you could try this look. I always love varsity jacket. You can wear it with blue scarf, straw fedora hat, pink shirt, floral maxi skirt, dark purple wedges, and black satchel. Wear pink-purple eye shadow, red-pink blush, and nude lipstick, for more spring look.

For hijabi, you can wear a denim overall. Because, on the leg section is quite loose and long. So, you can wear it like an ordinary jumpsuit. If you want to make it more hijabi-friendly, you can wear black turtleneck inside the denim overall. You can add black casual blazer, blue scarf, sunglasses, and black boots. With some highlighter and pink lips, and you look edgier instantly! :P :D

Another traveling looks. If you have stripes maxi dress and it's sleeveless, you can wear it with turtleneck top inside. You can add peach scarf, sun hat, small sling bag, and peach wedges. Don't forget your sunscreens to protect your skin from UV lights.

I always love punk style. But, not too much. :D To get this look, you can wear pink turtleneck top with asymmetrical black lace dress, short black cape, and boyfriend jeans. Don't forget black studded sling bag, pink scarf, black fedora hat and pink boots. Nude makeup will make your punk style not too much! Oh. By the way, I get this look from an avatar game in www.games.co.id.

Grunge style is also great for hijab style. Wear your red plaid shirt with floral print maxi skirt. Grunge is also typical with something black, too. Add black scarf, black beanie hat, black satchel bag, studded accessories, and black Dr. Martens boots. Plum lipstick would be look awesome for grunge style.

I remember when I look Dian Pelangi and Jenahara collection in Hijup website about sailor theme collection. And it reminds me of another vintage look. A maxi sailor stripes dress would be perfect for pin-up look. If you have short sleeve sailor stripes dress, just add turtleneck top. Or if you don't want to wear it, you can wear blazer with nautical style. Add with navy blue scarf, sailor caps, cream satchel bag, and oxford shoes. Red lips will make the look even more vintage.

I want to go to the beach, too. To do that, a bright printed dress, bright turtleneck top, and bright cardigan will be great on the beach. Oh. Don't forget the pink hijab, pink sunglasses, and pink sun hat. Big beach bag and jelly pink shoes would also great. BB cream, tinted lip balm, and sunscreen will make it great for my skin!

I know. Eid Mubarak is already done. But, hey! We still have Eid al-Adha, right? Sometimes, I also get together with my family at Eid al-Adha. For family gathering at Eid al-Adha, wear red shirt with black maxi skirt, black blazer, red hijab, red sling bag, and black wedges. Because you don't want to doing a makeup too much, just wear natural smokey eyes.

I hope you enjoy to read my blogs. Wassalammu'alaikum watrahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

Hi! Assalammu'alaikum, everybody! Okay. I know it's been so long that I didn't posted any kind of My Hijab Fashion and Make Up Inspiration series, because I'm really stuck what kind of style that I really wanted to post! -_-' Especially, I'm also very very busy to go to my music school and also right now I always had a job lately at the stage (I mean, I always perform at stage as vocalist). Not that I wanna brag, but that's the truth. Alhamdulillah. And, luckily I get a lot of inspiration from the internet like FIMELA (it's Indonesian Online Fashion and Lifestyle Magazine) and GoGirl! Magazine website in my spare time. OK. Without thinking anymore, here is the latest My Hijab Fashion and Make Up Inspiration from the previous series (first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth).

Actually, I don't want to make this looks. Because, it reminds me with my ex-boyfriend and I always had a bad feeling about it (I don't know why). But, because I created this look when I heard India.Arie's song entitled Can I Walk With You and JoJo's song entitled Baby It's You, I just can't stand to do it. Like I said before, my brain was full of so many inspiration and I don't wanna make the My Hijab Fashion and Make Up Inspiration series ends. So, I decided to make this looks and shared it to you. Wear your sheer beige dress with brown turtleneck/polo neck inner, tan pants tan jacket, tan boots, tan bag, and fuschia scarf/hijab. Nude makeup with fuschia lipstick would make it perfect!

I like Army style (though, those green color is remembering me about my ex-boyfriend). It makes me feel like a tough woman. If you like Army style too, then you must try this inspiration. Mix your black maxi dress (if it's sleeveless, wear a turtleneck or polo neck inside with the same color) with green army jacket, green pashmina/scarf, army hat, satchel bag, and army boots. Natural makeup with green smokey eyes? That should make you be ready to face the day with this style. :P

Stripe pants is really rocks if you know how to mix and match it properly for hijab. Mix your stripe pants with long loose top (like in this picture), turtleneck top inside, black blazer, black pashmina/scarf, beanie hat, handbag, and ankle boots. Natural makeup with orange lipstick will never make this looks so bored. A few tips: if you wearing inner ninja, just put your beanie hat directly on your inner ninja without wearing pashmina/scarf.

Is the weather cold outside? No worries. Because, you're gonna love this look. If you have batwing knitted top with short sleeve, wear it with grey turtleneck top inside, grey palazzo pants, tan pashmina/scarf, cream satchel bag, and statements boots. Smokey eyes without 'too' smokey would be perfect for this look. :P

I wish I have this skater dress. But because I don't have one, maybe I'll make an outlet for these style here. :D Skirt/dress over the pants will be hot in 2013. So, I bet this look really great for make those trends (especially, for hijabi). Skater dress is evenly sleeveless. So, wear grey skater dress with black turtleneck or polo neck top inside, skinny pants, and black pashmina/ scarf. If you want to have a sweet chic touch for this skater dress wear it with floral blazer, flower headband, floral sling bag, and black pump wedges. Rosy cheek and natural eye makeup would make you more chic.

If you want to go to wedding party, you should look elegant and glam on that event (but, don't show off too much). If you still have a beautiful dress (especially, in pink or soft pink. :P) on your wardrobe (especially, if you have one of those when you are used to be not a hijabi before like me), take it out and wear it on those event. Mix it with turtleneck top inside, lace blazer, pink pashmina/scarf, pink fascinator, glam clutch, and glam wedges. Red lipstick would make this look even more great!

Alhamdulillah. Although I don't have a picture when I'm wearing this look, but this look is (almost) like when I'm wearing it few times ago. Wear your mint jeans with pattern blue shirt dress, mint pashmina/scarf, sunglasses, black leather jacket, red mini sling bag, and tan ankle boots. Soft makeup would make this looks rock with you! :P

Another wedding look idea. But, this time (maybe) for the wedding reception. Every bride wants to be the center attention on her wedding. For every (future) bride out there, wear your white wedding dress (with long sleeves of course) with white pashmina/scarf, white fascinator, white clutch to keep your smartphones or handkerchief and emergency makeup kit, and white sandals. Because I want to have this look with Bella Swan make up inspiration in Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn part 1 when she getting married on the movie, golden brown smokey eyes, coral lipstick, and nude pink lip gloss would be perfect for your look.

I don't know why I created this look. Maybe, because deep in my heart I really wanna go traveling somewhere lately (but, I don't know where. -_-'). And, then...BAM! I got this look immediately. :D Wear your grey jumpsuit with black turtleneck top inside (again. Like I said before, if it's sleeveless), floral cotton blazer, peach-pink pashmina/scarf, sun hat, statement sunglasses, cute sling bag, and peach sneakers wedges. Because this look is for traveling/vacation/holiday, wear very very lightly natural makeup.

I hope you like this blog. Enjoy! Wassalammu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh!

Hi. Assalammu'alaikum, guys! My brain was full of so many inspiration and I don't wanna make the My Hijab Fashion and Make Up Inspiration series ends! (that's why I put 'might' words. :P). So, without thinking twice, I will give you the latest inspiration which I already got it yesterday and today from GoGirl! Magazine and Yahoo! (in fashion news) and created on Polyvore all by myself with my own idea and my own inspiration (that's why I called it My Hijab Fashion and Make Up Inspiration, because I created it all by myself). From the previous series (first, second, third, fourth, and fifth), here is my latest blog about My Hijab Fashion and Make Up Inspiration.

Traditional pattern will also hit in 2013. For Indonesian, this is really great for you. Because, Indonesia has so many traditional clothes with pattern variety. So, you should be proud! Mix your traditional pattern maxi skirt with long sleeve peplum top, long vest, grey pashmina, nerd glasses, Jeffrey Campbell Lita Shoes in tan, and black clutch. Pink-peach blush and pink lipstick will make this look awesome!

This is also my favorite, because I'm such a tomboy girl. For my daily look, I usually wear some oversized tees with black inner turtleneck top, leather jacket, grey pashmina, baseball cap, and simple satchel bag. I also like to wear sneakers. Usually, I didn't wear much makeup. Because, I want to keep my face look natural.

Gothic was so in on 2013. Especially, if there is someone who wants to look darker. :P Wear your tartan dress with black turtleneck/polo neck inner, black skinny jeans, black pashmina, black aviator sunglasses, and black boots. I also combined it with red sling bag, peace sign ring, and bracelet ring. Red lipstick with smokey grey eyes would make you even more 'darker'. :D (tips:don't wear anything with cross sign, because you just want to make look like gothic princess without it).

Cruise/Resort hijab is inspired by Moschino Cruise that I read it on GoGirl! Magazine and I imagined it that I wear this looks when I'm on the cruise ship or vacation on the beach. :P Wear your floral blouse with black maxi pleated skirt, soft pink pashmina, sun hat, sunglasses, black and white blazer, and lace flats. Pastel colors sling bags would also make it work. For make up? Completely natural with sunscreen or don't wear any make up at all! :P :D

Another tomboy style. But this time, is more masculine (without losing a woman touch, of course). Wear you loose black shirt with sweater, tailored pants, printed blazer, brown pashmina/scarf, newsboy cap, loafer shoes, and brown satchel bag. Don't wear too much make up for this looks.

Metallic is identical with gold or silver. Wear silver shirt with gold skirt, black cardigan, printed scarf with black wire headband, brown handbag, and black boots. For more feminine touch, wear flower ring and girly bracelets for more color. Makeup? Nude, please! Because, people will only focused on your clothing. Not your makeup.

70's looks will make another hit on 2013. But, I like to make it more vintage than retro. For me, retro style is really...tacky. But, if you like retro I'm sorry if I should said this. This is my opinion, though. Wear your vintage kaftan with black inner turtleneck/polo neck, vintage maxi skirt, vintage blazer, vintage shoes, vintage hat, vintage bag, and tan scarf. Also wear your vintage accessories to complete this looks.  Sweet nude makeup will make your look more chic like a vintage woman!

I love denim shirt. It challenges me to how should I wear it. And, you don't have to wear any turtleneck/polo neck inner to wear it. Wear your denim shirt with printed maxi skirt, blue pashmina, sunglasses, black boots, and brown sling bag. Nude face with bronzer will make your face look sun-kissed.

I like monochrome style. Because, black and white is some of my favorite color. I know, some of you would think that would be very unusual for a woman to like a monochrome color like black or white and usually a man who like these color. But, I personally like it. Because, I read an articles that when you wear white you will feel clean and when you wear black you will look more elegant. And, also I imagined wear this looks when I heard Nicole Scherzinger's song entitled Don't Hold Your Breath. Wear little black dress with black inner turtleneck, white pants, white blazer, black pashmina, white fedora, black boots, and black handbag. Black and white accessories will also make it work. Red lipstick with black smokey eyes will make it stand out!

I hope you like it and enjoy! Wassalammu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh!

My Hijab Fashion and Make Up Inspiration 5

Assalamu'alaikum. Hello, everybody. without the second thought, let's see the latest inspiration which I get from my own mix 'n match creation from Polyvore which I will posted on this blog right about...now! And, this is the fifth series from the first, second, third, and fourth of my previous blogs. Let's get started!

This inspiration comes from K-pop stars and K-pop street styler. Korean style is more about quirkiness, edgy, or fun. K-pop stars is dare to wear classy or dressy looks. But, I'll make it proper for hijab. Wear you inner tan turtleneck, stripes maxi dress, edgy jacket, burgundy pashmina, sun hat, tangerine satchel bag, and oranges wedges. Korean is popular with natural shades makeup. So, don't wear much makeup for this looks.

Gypsy woman is very famous for its clothes with bold colors and bold patterns. So, for this inspiration I'll make it proper for hijabis. Wear floral pattern blouse with black inner turtleneck, gypsy maxi skirt, leather jacket, navy pashmina and fuschia wedges. Gypsy clothes also wear extra scarf on their neck, so wear bright color scarf, for this looks. Bold smokey eyes and neon pink blush, will make this looks pop!

What's up! :D This is hip-hop style for hijab (I like hip-hop music, by the way). This is one of my favorite. Sometimes, I wear this style too (but, I don't have the picture. :'( sorry). I always wear long tees with sporty jacket, sweat pants or harem pants, and baseball cap. Because now I'm wearing hijab, I combined it with brown pashmina. Sometimes if I wanna bit stylish, I also wear sneakers high heels/wedges. I will combined it with satchel bag and boyfriend watch too. My makeup advice for this style? I think, I just keep it natural. I don't want to be like Nicki Minaj or Eve.

I created this when I confused about how to mix and match my asymmetrical skirt for hijab, because I have one before I'm wearing hijab. But with those tremendous pressure, finally I got the idea immediately. I think, I'll mix it with grey inner turtleneck, long printed tees, grey scarf, and long coat. I also will mix it with sunglasses, black bag, black boots, some rings and bracelet. And,...voila! A proper asymmetrical skirt for hijab style (sorry for the sentence in the picture. I'm still confusing to write "asymmetrical" correctly. @_@). Oops... . I totally forgot about makeup. :P I think, I'll just make it as natural as possible.

I always love to look Parisian street styler. I mean, they are look so simple but chic with their own way. When I want to know what they look like, I was a little bit cheating from eHow about how do they look like. And, I'm impressed! Usually, they're wearing coats, boots, satchel bag, crisps blouse, and pearl jewellery. With a little touch for hijabis, I combined it with inner turtleneck top, pashmina, and loose pants (you can add scarf if the weather is cold). Oh. Don't forget the sunglasses! Their makeup, is really really natural but still stand out.

This is such a sweet looks (for me, I think). Mix your paisley palazzo pants with cream inner turtleneck, long pink ruffles blouse, navy blazer, soft pink pashmina, wedges, black satchel bag, and sunglasses. For makeup, red fuschia lipstick would make it stand out!

Woohoo! Leopard print is in the house, yo! :D Especially, if you want to look quirky like me. :P Mix your Leopard outerwear with pink maxi dress, inner turtleneck (if the dress is sleeveless, boots, big tote bag, and brown pashmina. Oh. Because I want to be different, I mix with a headdress. Nude pink lipstick will make it focused on your looks.

Patchwork will be hit in 2013. Mix your patchwork mini dress with red inner turtleneck, grey skinny jeans, red pashmina, studded boots and blazer. Fun bracelet and orange sling bag will make it not so boooriiing. :D For makeup, let's say it's natural/neutral makeup.

When I listen to Westlife's song entitled Beautiful In White (it's unreleased single), I immediately create this looks for my own wedding in the future. I imagined my self wearing white lace long sleeve wedding dress (if there's a peek in the chest section, wear white inner turtleneck inside the dress) with white hijab, cathedral veil (which is the longest veil. I really want to wear it on my wedding), wedding clutch, wedding bracelet, and wedding ring of course. For the makeup, natural but stand out will make all eyes on you.

I hope you like it and I hope it's helpful. Wassalammu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
