Hijab Style for Women with Curves & Big 'Assets'

Assalammualaikum...

I know some of you would be shocking and asking 'What is that mean?' :D Actually, the title of the article is me and every women's in the world with curvy body (especially, women with big assets). Until now, I was still confusing because I have the curves and big assets in my upper and lower body (you know what I mean). I used to have big calves, but that problem is solved because I always doing exercises. Unfortunately, my other problem is my 'assets' (I believe, that's what you said). I have huge assets (believe it or not). I used to be a 'damn' sexy girl. But, because right now I'm a hijabi, wearing sexy clothes was...ugh. Big NO NO! Why? Because, as a Muslim I have to be modest in Islamic way.

Actually, I've outsmart it by wearing some clothes that are loose and stretched out my hijab to cover my chest. But, still, my upper body looks big because my chest size is reached 32DDD/32E (this size before I do the breast massage. All of you would be surprised. But, that's the reality) until 32G/32F (after doing the breast massage). Well, that is really huge for a hijabi woman like me.

So many people asking me "Are you pregnant? Because, your bust is really big." I said, "No. I'm not married, yet!" And, that question is really makes me piss off.

I was very confused for a workaround, that I almost gave up. But, Allah doesn't allow that to happen. Allah has helped me to find a way out to deal with the large size of my breasts. I almost crying when I saw there's a website that trying to find some clothes that suits for hijabi women with big 'assets' like me.

I read it carefully and try to find which one is good for women who wear hijab. I wrote it down, then I pour it into this article to help women who want to wear hijab, but quite problematic with their bodies that have large breasts and a (possibly) large buttocks, like me, that don't want to attract the attention of men who are not their mahram (except for married women, for their husbands).

1. V-neck outerwear

Wear V-neck outerwear, because it can balanced out your big hips (if you have) and can divides and separates your bust area. An optical illusion from V-neck outerwear will also makes your bust looks smaller. If your outerwear have some button, try to unbuttoned it. If you buttoned it, your bust area will be visible and you will be blown if you too long to do it.

2. Batwing tops/cardigans

Batwing cardigan/tops is hijabis best friends. :D Why I should said that? Because, for women with big assets, these kind of clothes will help you cover your bust area and make it look smaller. It also quite loose, so you not to have worried about your bust area will exposed.
Currently, in the market has a lot to sell batwing blouses and cardigans. So, take out your batwing tops/cardigans, and you ready to go. :D

3. Hijab with light/pastel colors

Cover your chest with hijab in light/pastel colors. If the scarves is too transparent, make it double layer. Sometimes, you can also wear silk hijab (I have two silk hijabs) in formal/casual occasions to create some new colors and textures. Don't forget to stretch it out to cover your bust area. Another tips for you: if you have fair or light skin tone, try finding bright colored tops. So you're not look pale or...at least you want to look like a ghost. -_-'

4. Balance the color

If you want to wearing hijab in light colors, try to wear darker tops/cardigans. But, if you want to wear the darker hijab, just spice it up your outfits with some edgy colors, like burgundy, maroon, dark pink, or you also can mix it with some bold colors. The point is, balance the color of your outfits, so your breast is well covered.

5. Floral prints

Floral prints? Why not? As long as you wear it in one section (whether it's your hijab, your maxi skirts, your pants, or even your maxi dress), that wouldn't be a problem. Because, floral prints is very effective for avoiding breast formed behind the clothes you wear.

6. Wrap dress

The classical model of dress that can cover the breast, so that it appears smaller. If in the neck section is open, you can wear neckstension (if you have wrap dress with long sleeves) or you can wear polo neck innards (if you have sleeveless wrap dress).

7. Square Necklines Dress/Tops

Square neckline is really classic, refined, and modest options for us. The big busted women. :D This style is really toned down for hijabi woman. But, again. We have to put our neckstention (for square neckline dress/tunics/tops with long sleeves, like in the picture) or polo neck (for sleeveless square neckline dress/tops).

If you wear square neckline tunics like in the picture in right, you can add black skinny jeans or palazzo pants/trousers (if you have square neckline tunics with the short length). If you want to wear casual looks, add some denim jackets, simple necklaces, few bracelets, some simple rings, and flat shoes or sneakers. For formal looks, you can wear statement necklace, some statement headdress, chunky bracelets, and gold clutch.

I hope this article can help you to find a perfect fit for casual occasions or formal occasions like Eid Mubarak. Wassalammualaikum warrahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

Tips to Stay Healthy Despite Fasting for More than 12 hours.

Assalammualaikum...

For all those who are now entering the month of fasting, I wish you all Happy Fasting. This time, I had a variety of tips that we stay healthy during Ramadan, although we are fasting for more than 12 hours. And, all of this tips is according to my experience while fasting in Ramadan.

1. Go to bed on time

If you want to implement suhoor on time, you have to try to get to sleep on time. If you're not sleep on time, you will be exhausted and it's hard to wake up suhoor on time. If necessary, install an alarm with a loud sound from your smartphone or your alarm clock. Alternatively, you can ask the people closest to remind you to get up suhoor. Like, your parents or your future husband/future wife (for singles) or your husband/wife (for married couples).

2. Complex carbohydrate, protein, fibers, and water

Eat suhoor that contains complex carbohydrates, protein, and fibers. Complex carbohydrates can help withstand full more than 6 hours. Examples of foods that contain complex carbohydrates are potatoes, maize, cassava, oatmeal, dates, whole wheat bread, and rice (both brown rice and white rice). Protein and fibers, like fish, eggs, beef, vegetables and fruits, is also helps keep your stamina during fasting. And, don't forget some waters to keep you rehydrate during fasting.

3. No greasy food

Greasy food? Big NO NO!!! It will only make your red blood cells to clot, causing reduced oxygen flow 20 percent. Consequently? You'll be fast asleep during the day while fasting. I own outright cured, because eating too much greasy food at suhoor. Ugh... -_-'

4. Don't engage in strenuous activity

Very strenuous activity will make you too tired and your immune system decreases during fasting. Instead, you have to limit your physical activity and not too long under the sun, so that your fasting is not invalidated because of fatigue.

5. Break fasting in sufficient quantities

Don't eat too much when you break fasting. If you do that, your stomach feels cramped due to the smaller stomach and digestive enzymes are reduced. You better drink a few sips of water before Maghrib prayer. Then, you may be a little eating sweet foods and a great meal after Tarawih prayer (commonly, Tarawih prayer conducted several hours after Maghrib prayer). I already try that and it totally works.

6. Exercise before sleep

Instead of exercising in the morning when we are fasting or exercise a few minutes before sunset, the better you exercise at night before going to sleep after a big meal. This is done, so that your stomach is not overly full when you sleep and your metabolism is maintained. You can do some mild exercise, like push up, sit up, or walking for 15-20 minutes.

I hope my tips really helpful for you. Thank you and enjoy! Wasalammu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

My Sick Days Essentials

Assalammualaikum...

Aaachoooooooooo!!!!! I'm having cold right now. Sniff sniff... And, it makes me really suffered. :'( My eyes are itchy and red. I also have runny nose, and I always have cough because my throat is inflamed. So, I have stayed on my bed (but, that doesn't mean that I didn't do my prayers). But, luckily I'm having some essentials that makes me feels better even though I was sick and stay in the bed all time.

1. Hot tea.

Hot tea helps my strep throat and my runny nose feels better. Especially, if you added it with honey and lemon. The lemon juice helps cut through congestion and the honey soothes the throat. And if you added honey, it is also really good when you're sick. Because, honey is believed to maintain our stamina so that we remain fresh and not susceptible to disease. It also can cope with strep throat.

2. Vegetable soup.

Vegetable soup is really common in Indonesia. It contains carrots, lettuce, and long beans. It is also can be added with meatballs, chicken, or broccoli. This is my favorite soup, because besides it tastes good for me, my stomach feels so warm after eating this soup. Especially, if I eat it with hot rice. Mm Mmm... Yummy! I love it! :9

3. Some books or magazines.

If you stayed on your bed because you're sick, you can read some books or magazines. Lately, I'm reading some books about marriage and wedding in Islam (maybe, because I really wanted to married with my future husband as soon as possible. :P). It really caught my hearts, until I wanted to read it again and again. I know, right now my future husband is not proposed me yet. But, I'll keep waiting in patience. Right now, I can only read some books about it and waiting for my wedding will happen.

4. Social media on your smartphones.

You know what is the most fun to do when we are sick? Keep in touch with our friends on social media! :D Come on. Most of you is always did this when you sick, right? (including me. :P) Of course! Right now, social media like Facebook, Twitter, and etc. is can be easily accessed by your smartphones. Sometimes, I always smiled if there's some funniest status on Facebook accounts of my friends. And, it makes me a little bit feel better. :P

5. Keep praying to Allah.

You think I'll never praying and remembering Allah? Nonsense! Of course I keep praying, though I was sick! Because, believe it or not, if we're sick and expect healing to Allah, He surely will grant our prayers and heal our diseases. Just keep believing if you're going to recover from your disease.

6. Listening music on your music player.

If you stayed on the bed, listening music can eliminate your boredom. I also listening music for practicing my voice (though, actually my throat is really sore. -_-'). But, I just listening until...maybe I was asleep.

7. Mobile gaming.

This is also can eliminate your boredom, if you're bored if you should going to sleep too much. Although our hands sore as it continues to play the game, but we can still have fun without having to think about disease in our bodies.

8. Lip balm.

Sometimes when you're sick, you have dried lips. If so, then use your favorite lip balms. My favorite lip balms is Baby Lips from Maybelline. The one that I have is Energizing Orange. The smells is so refreshing. To the extent that when I wear it, I forget that I was sick. :D The formula is also very gentle on my lips, so the humidity in maintained.

9. Moisturizer.

Moisturizer is keeps your face dehydrated to nourish our dry skin when we sick. Especially me, my skin is really rough although it's oily. And, I'm not comfortable with that. So, I use my own moisturizer after washing my face. Pond's Flawless White Visible Lightening Day and Night Cream. It really helps my face moist and I still look flawless though I was sick. :P

10. Body butter/body lotion.

I always use Mustika Ratu Coffee Body Butter. My skin look moist, flawless, but still firm. But, if you don't have the body butter, you can use body lotion (for tropical skins, use the body lotion with SPF 15). Believe me. You still looks fresh even though you're sick and when you welcoming your guests when you're in home (that's really lame, right? -_-').

I hope this tips is really helps. Wassalammualaikum warrahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
